How To Be Comfortable With Failure

Quick Sunday reminder (and a little favor)

You’re not making money because you are always afraid to do things.

You’re not achieving your full potential because you’re afraid to do things.

You’re not meeting new people and finding new opportunities because you’re afraid to do things.

You’re scared you’re going to fail. You’re afraid people will know. You think they will judge you. You lost your confidence last time you tried and failed.

You listen to the voice inside your head that says you can’t make it because you’ve tried it before and you failed. You feel like you’ve tried everything but nothing worked.

Nothing worked because you only tried it in your head.

You thought your way through it all.

When you’re about to face a battle, you don’t train in your head. You actually go to the field and train.

That’s what you do in real life.

That’s how you solve problems.

That’s how you get better.

That’s how you learn things.

When you combine all these, you transform into a new person.

But how do you get the courage to start?

By accepting that it’s okay to fail. By being ready to suck at the thing you chose to do. By collecting failures that life has no other choice but to let you win.

When you think of failure as “normal”, nothing will scare you.

You will realize everything that goes in your way is only because of your ego. After all, it’s not the failure or rejection you’re scared of. You’re just protecting your ego. And every time you make an effort to protect it, it smiles at you.

But you lose everything you’re dreaming of.

Short form or long form?

You may have noticed that today’s letter is shorter than normal.

That’s because I’m trying to see what you prefer. It would make my life a lot easier if I heard it directly from you.

Do you prefer reading my long newsletters or short ones?
